get to know me

My whole life I have valued the importance of taking care of my body, when I was younger it was quite easy to accomplish the goals of staying fit, working out, and having the energy to do it all, day after day. But something happened as I got older, especially as I approached my 40's. What had worked once, no longer did, and I began gaining weight, feeling run down and discouraged.

At the age of 36, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and irritable bowel syndrome and it appeared that the only solution at my disposal involved living a life dependent on daily medications and a resignation that I was just never going to have the energy or the physicality I had when I was younger. Since I refused to accept this new reality, I decided to do some research into how best to help myself. I went to the top nutrition school in New York, and graduated as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I learned so much along the way that I knew I had to share this knowledge with others, and I'd love to share it with you.

The concept of Fit Food Feel Good, begins with accepting that we are not all biologically equal. This inequality allows one person to thrive on a diet that would be disastrous for another. For me, what worked was incorporating clean eating, vitamins, herbs, stress reduction methods, different breathing techniques, and a new fitness and Pilates program for weight loss. For your transformation, well... we will have to meet and work together to discover that answer.
